Al Miller faces court in Dudus matter today

Published on November 6, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

Popular clergyman Reverend Al Miller is to go on trial today on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The charge stemmed from a massive police-military operation to capture then fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.

Coke was being sought for the authorities to execute an arrest warrant on him.

The US Government had sent an extradition request for Coke to face a trial on gun and drug related charges.

Miller was found in the company of Coke in a car along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine in 2010.

When he was held, the pastor reportedly told the police that he was taking Coke to the US Embassy in Kingston for him to surrender to authorities there.

Coke is now serving time in the US.
