Chinese man creates apocalypse survival pods [Video]

December 21st is very close, why not buy yourself a surviving pod? This is the story of a Chinese enterpreneur called Liu Qiyuan who realised this queer project to meet the needs of the people who believe that the world will end on the 21st of the current month, as was calculated by the Mayan Calendar. The pod is made of steel and fiber glass and it’s big enough for your family and friends to come and join you to be saved and still have the space and mood to sing Christmas Jingles! The idea came to his mind after watching the movie “2012″ and since then, Liu started designing these spheres that can face a tsumani or other big natural events such as earthquakes saving the lives of the people who hide inside thanks to it’s shape. Liu confirmed that “the shape and structure of each pod will reportedly enable it to float “like a ping-pong ball”.
