Kanye West Blasts Fake Interview! Never Compared Himself to Mandela

Kanye West is always one to own up to his crazy outbursts and ridiculous praises of himself. So after several media outlets were reporting that Yeezy went on another rant comparing himself to the late great Nelson Mandela RIGHT after his passing, a lot of people were just too through with Mr. West.

“Nelson Mandela did a lot of good work, don’t get me wrong. But I think I’m on track to do something even bigger. I liberate minds with my music. That’s more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever,” the fake article read.

Directly after, tons of fans took to Twitter and Facebook to bash Kanye for being so insensitive and down right delusional!

“Kanye West said he’s gonna be the next Nelson Mandela.  Let’s start him off with 27 years in jail,” one follower wrote.

“Just wanna say f*** you for saying you better than Nelson Mandela[sic],” another person added.

Well as it turns out,  Kanye is innocent in this case and is blasting The Daily Currant for running the “satirical” piece where Kanye allegedly compared himself to Mandela saying he would trump the world leader in fame.

Kanye has openly and proudly compared himself to Steve Jobs, Ghandi and tons of other game changers, but he was not about to take credit for the fake article and immediately took to his Twitter to clear his name.

In a series of tweets, ‘Ye sounds more humble than anything, thanking Mandela for his sacrifices and praising him before professing his innocence.

“At a young age my mother taught me the importance of his work. Mandela sacrificed his life for the betterment of mankind. Thank You, Mandela, for your life’s work and may it serve as a guiding light to illuminate our future.”

I’d like to address the false stories and noise that have been engineered by the media,” he continued.

“Despite recent media reports, I’ve never said anything to dishonor or trivialize the life or transition of one of the most inspiring leaders.”

It looks like Kanye’s rants are catching up to him…people will believe he said almost anything! Do you think now Kanye will FINALLY calm down? We doubt it.
