Ward 21 ‘Still Disturbed’ [Album Review] – Video

Kali McCarthy

January 22nd, 2014

Its refreshing to hear authentic dancehall music again in a time when so many riddims are imitating and sampling from other genres (mainly hip hop / R&B). Ward 21 brings it back to the roots. This is definitely one of the better albums from the genre in the past 3 – 5 years and one of the things that makes it stand out is because Kunley, Suku and Mean Dawg stays true to their roots.

On another note… the only thing i would have wished for differently is only to have more tracks on the album. 15 tracks (2 are very hilarious skits, and 1 is a cleverly written intro). With that said… I rate this album 8.5/10.
